Peggy Yin

Peggy Yin (‘25) is a sophomore at Harvard College concentrating in Computer Science on the Mind Brain Behavior track. She is an award-winning All-Eastern vocalist and All-State flutist from New York—where she studied voice with teachers from the Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard—and has performed solo at Carnegie Hall multiple times. As a strong believer in the empathetic and healing power of music, she has been deeply involved in community music and engagement as both a Youth Ambassador for Concerts in Motion and a traditional Chinese folk singer at cultural festivals. Outside of serving as Tech Liaison for HCO, she volunteers as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Textline, serves as the Academic Co-Chair for Mind Brain Behavior society, leads design for musical theater shows, and is a mentor with Strong Women Strong Girls. She sings as a Ferris Choral Fellow with the Harvard University Choir, and currently studies voice with Frank Kelley. You can spot her around campus sporting copious amounts of yellow, attempting to belt both parts to Broadway duets that make her feel yellow inside.
